Week commencing 4th Nov 2019

Another busy week in Clare class. We have learnt about the story of Bonfire night and watched a video of fireworks. We did some firework paintings. We thought of some words such as bang and pop that describe how fireworks sound. We have also been learning about money and playing in the shop.We have also learnt about Autumn and have collected some different coloured leaves.

We have learnt the codes 'ck' and 'e'. Ask your child the action for each code.

We have learnt the words I,the,to and go.

Our number of the week is 6. We have been partitioning 6 ,eg.3 and 3 is 6 or 3+3=6.

We have also been reading with our year 5  reading buddies.
