We have been writing up our Rainforest booklets. This is a picture of a

Canopy

We are proud of our handwriting and wrote captions underneath our pictures. We learnt how to add page numbers and a contents page.

Maths

Last week we were finding half and quarter of shapes. This week we have been using our knowledge to find half and quarter of whole numbers.

We worked out how to find half by creating two circles, but when we found a quarter of a number we used four circles. Each time we had to divide our number equally between the circles.
