Week commencing 13th Jan 2020

English: This week we have had a go at innovating our writing. We have changed 'shoes' and have been writing from the perspective of King Charles II. The children have been completing some wonderful descriptive writing and working towards editing and improving their writing.

Maths: The children have been continuing to explore money in finding totals and change. They have also used their reasoning skills to solve some problems with money.

Topic: This week the children have been historians making a timeline of the events that happened during the Great Fire of London.

Science: We began to explore materials and their properties. The children identified the materials different items were made from and began to learn the vocabulary to describe them.
