English: The children have been writing poems about fire and the Great Fire of London. We have practised rhyming, writing similes and using alliteration. They have come up with some wonderfully creative poems.

Maths: We have finished up our statisti​​​cs making a block digram. The children started learning about shapes and their properties. We've completed a shape hunt in our classroom!

Topic: We have completed some wonderful map making! The children were challenged to draw a map of London in 1666. They've labelled where the fire burned through London and the important landmarks we have learned about.

Science: The children conducted a science experiment to help discovery dog with his problem. We tested the absorbancy of materials to find the most absorbent one!
