Week commencing 7th Oct 2019

In English this week, we have focused on learning the format of a letter and expanding our sentences using conjunctions. 

In Mathematics this week, we practised using the expanded method to add two digit numbers without regrouping. We first worked with blocks and dry erase markers on tables then learned to present our work very neatly in our maths books. 

We had a great time travelling to the Cambridge Central Library where we got to explore the children's section, check out books with our library cards, and hear some stories from a librarian. 

In honour of Autumn, harvest, and Halloween, we applied our sketching skills while doing a realistic sketch of our pumpkins.
