Week commencing 16th Sept 2019

Maths: We've had another great week in Wolfson class! In Maths we've been continuing our work on Place Value and Number. We've worked really hard on using our mathematical language to help us to reason and explain our answers. What maths language have you used this week? 

English:  In English, we have been thinking about how we can make our writing more vivid and dynamic. More specifically, we've looked at using adverbs and fronted adverbials in our work. We had great fun coming up with our own bank of fronted adverbials based around an image from the myth of Theseus and the Minotaur. Choose one of the sentence openers from below and put it into your own sentence!

Topic: In our topic work, we've been learning about the chronology of Ancient Greece by ordering some key historical events on a timeline. Why not pick one of these key events and do a little more research about it?
