Week commencing 2nd Dec 2019
Downing class spent a lovely afternoon this week making a reading recommendations flowchart based on our favourite books. We chose five books which a lot of us had read, and then grouped the rest of the books according to which of the first five they were most similar to. We definitely have some very keen readers in our class!
In science, we are still waiting for the first signs of mould in our bread preservation experiment! We have made sure that we have kept everything the same (e.g. amount of bread, type of bread, temperature) apart from what we are trying to investigate: the container.
Next week in maths we will start working on percentages and will begin by looking at the book 'If the World Were a Village'.
