What a brilliant start to our new topic: I'm a Fawcett pupil, get me out of here!

On Monday, we found ourselves stranded in the Amazon Rainforest and had to complete a series of challenges to find our way out.

We also created a little bit of the rainforest in our own classroom!

On Friday, we were very lucky to welcome Michael Rosen to Fawcett. Mr Rosen took a workshop with all of our year 4s, 5s and 6s which was a combination of poetry, story-telling and collaborative writing. Some of our ideas have fed in to Mr Rosen's preparation for the Holocaust Memorial Day event at the Cambridge Corn Exchange on Sunday January 26th. The event is free and starts at 3pm. We would love to see lots of Fawcett pupils there.
