Week commencing 24th February 2020

What a week of weather this has been! Downing class particularly enjoyed the snow on Thursday morning and were rather disappointed that it had all gone by morning break!

Most pupils have now finished publishing their Information Texts about the Amazon Rainforest. Here is a selection:

In maths, we have finished off our unit on measure and are starting our work on algebra. This news was met by a cheer from the fantastically keen Downing students.

In topic, we have started to find out about the Maya civilisation by looking at remains from that time.
