Week commencing 3rd Feb 2020

In Pembroke Class this week, we have begun a unit on measurement in Maths. We have looked at reading scales, converting between different units of measure and how to convert between miles and kilometres.

In English, we have started writing information texts on the Amazon Rainforest. Wonderful and engaging introductions were written, as well as, a paragraph on the fascinating Draco Lizard.

In Topic, we have continued to think about deforestation and the pros and cons for this happening. Next week, we are going to write balanced arguments on deforestation. 

In Art, we completed some artwork based on Mola art from Panama which is in central America.
