Week commencing 10th Feb 2020

English: This week the children have been writing newspaper reports based on the story of the three little pigs. The children have changed the story to make it their own. We've had some lions, tigers and even bacon!

Maths: We have continued with our shapes trying to compare and sort 2D and 3D shapes. The children have also practised drawing some. See if they can teach you!

On Thursday, the children celebrated their 100th day in school. In year 2, we completed a number of challenges including making a lego structure with 100 bricks, creating bead strings, reading 100 pages and even writing about what it will be like to be 100. The children also completed a 100 mile challenge as a whole school.
