Week commencing 16th Sept 2019
This week, we have continued our discussions about World War II and ordered the dates of the key events during the war. We found out that the War began in 1939 and ended in 1945. Here are some of the timelines we have drawn:
In English, we have begun writing emotive letters and have written about our journey on the train to farm. We have also written about the differences of a farm in comparison to city life. Have a read of our descriptions!
In Maths, we have continued with Place Value and have used negative numbers in context, as well as, balanced equations to make them equal. Balancing equations is a really important skill and we have found some of the questions rather challenging.
Finally, in Science this week, we have found out about the different types of blood vessels and their functions.
