Pupil Premium Expenditure and Impact
The Pupil Premium was introduced by the Government in April 2011. The Pupil Premium is funding provided to schools which is children who are eligible for free school meals (FSM) and those children in local authority care. This additional funding is used by school to target support for children to close the gap in outcomes.
At the Federation we plan how to spend this funding based on the needs of the children and our professional assessment of effective strategies to support effective learning. We constantly review our approach, making adaptations and introducing new initiatives to suit those children benefitting from the funding.
The reports below detail how funding is used and its expected impact.
